The vases and lamps from this line are made from a mix of old newspapers, chalk powder, and natural tree resin as glue. The process is pure craftsmanship: the newspapers are first ground into pulp, mixed with chalk, and then pressed by hand into molds. Because we exclusively use natural raw materials and recycled paper, this lamp is a fantastic choice for an environmentally conscious interior. As for maintenance, this Chalk lamp requires a gentle approach. Because the base is made of papier-mâché and chalk, the lamp is not resistant to water or damp environments.
