Meet the Farmwood dining table. This is where you start your day with a strong coffee and end it with an elaborate dinner with all your friends. Measuring 180x90x76 cm, it offers more than enough space for your daily activities. Looking for a bit more room? We also have it in 200 cm or even 240 cm wide. The entire piece of furniture is made from FSC-recycled wood, which provides a tough and weathered look in your home.
The wood is recycled and comes from beams of old houses. Skilled craftsmen hand-select the usable beams, paying attention to the correct thickness, appearance, and color. This is a lengthy process that makes the wood more valuable, but the result is extraordinary! Each finished product has a rustic, natural appearance. Imperfections such as knots and cracks are still visible, which is precisely what makes the table so unique. Almost no post-processing has been done, apart from sanding and brushing the wood.
To keep the table beautiful, it is important to maintain it properly. Regularly wipe it with a lightly damp or dry duster without heavy stitching, to prevent scratches. Avoid cleaning tools with a rough surface and do not use detergents or cleaning agents containing ammonia. If you do not treat the table (which is not necessary!), it will develop a natural patina after some time. If desired, you can use any type of wax, teak oil, or varnish, but test this first in an inconspicuous spot, as it will darken the wood.
Complete the seating area by sliding the matching dining bench from the Farmwood series to one side. This breaks up the space and invites you to linger for hours after dinner. Place a few large vases or a bowl of fruit on the table to complete the look. On the other side, alternate with different types of chairs for a playful effect in your interior.
