This table is made of high-quality teak wood from Indonesia. What makes this wood so special is not only its enormous strength, but especially its responsible origin. The teak wood comes from strictly managed plantations. Since teak does not grow wild in Indonesia, you don't have to worry about deforestation of precious tropical rainforests. Moreover, since 2016, the Indonesian government has been strictly monitoring timber trade with the FLEGT system (an agreement with the EU). The great thing about teak wood is that it basically stays beautiful on its own. If you like that characteristic silver-gray color, you only need to wipe the table occasionally with a soft brush and some lukewarm water.
